Outstanding items to which 1 ha\e listened with interest include a service Irom Din - ham Cathedra! and one from St. Ann's Cathedral. Liverpool, the Oxford and Cambridge boat race, and the England and Scotland Rugby match, which came over particularly clear. Last night I heard a I.Vminutes" talk 0:1 the Grand National to be run 011 Friday. The description will be recorded and put or. the air on Saturday night. Las; night also half an hour of organ music from the Trocadero Cinema House. Elephant and Castle was quite good enouch to rebroadcast. Seelnt that we have two stations m Christchurc'n. I think 3YL could lie used on special occasions, atmospheric conditions being suitable. -- Yours, etc . DAY ENTRY. March _i. 1,
