ADDINGTON MARKET

HEAVY STORE SHEEP ENTRY GOOD EWES SELL WELL (ET OCB COMMMCUIi EL'UOB.) Generally the demand in the major sections at the -weekly metropolitan market yesterday was well maintained and late rates were equalled or slightly bettered. The fat cattle section was the exception, where a very large entry sold at rates slightly below those ruling last week. The store sheep entry was easily the largest of the season lor Addington, and attracted much interest. For all sheep showing quality or soundness the demand was up to late rates, but there was a dragging tendency in the competition tor backward conditioned or poorly woolled types. Uhe lat lamb market was a very good one, with exporters operating on the new j-ehedule basis ot up to i;;d for under 361b iambs. Fat snecp sold steadily with a rise over the hist alley.
