The matter of providing showers and dressing accommodation for numbers is also in view, liecoimnendations; in this connexion will be made at the annual meeting. 'I ho obtaining of more commodious and better equipped premises will necessarily entail greater expenditure and for this reason the motion to raise the rates of subscriptions is to be submit led to the annua! meeting. The committee is of opinion, however, that the proposed new rates arc very reasonable in the circumstances. following a meeting convened bv this club of representatives of Badminton clubs in Canterbury, the Canterbury Badminton Association was formed, and under the association's direction the Canterbury championships wore held on September 15 and I<>.
