NEW ZEALAND TO DOVER
TELEPHONE CONVERSATION FROM HAMILTON (TRKS3 ASSOCIATION TF.i/EGKAU.) HAMILTON. February 12. On the occasion of his diamond wedding anniversary, wireless telephony was used last evening by Mr W. Chilty, of Hamilton, to exchange greetings with relatives in Dover, Kngland. Arrangements were made for all Mr Chitty's English relatives to gather in one house at Dover, and the co-opera-tion of the New Zealand Post and Telegraph Department was enlisted. At the appointed time the words "London speaking—hold on for Dover" sounded. The conversation was clearly heard at both ends, each of the relatives coming to the telephone at Dover to speak.
