SEARCH PARTY FIND TRACES (l.i-ECIAL TU TtlK VK151.) HOKITIKA, October 17. The search party which has been searching the Browning Pass for traces of James Cox, a relief worker who set out for Canterbury by way of the pass, and is now believed lobt, followed tracks made by the walker almost to the top of the pass, where they were lost. The parly, which has now been out six days, is continuing the search. Cox left more than a fortnight ago to walk over the ranges to Canterbury. Fears for his safety were felt when nothing was heard from either side of the ranges and a search party set out last Wednesday.
