Y.M.C.A. GYMNASIUM CLASS
TROPHIES PRESENTED There was a large attendance of members and friends at the final social of the gymnasium class of the Young Men's Christian Association, held in the gymnasium on Saturday evening. The function took the form of a social and dance, numerous items being contributed by the members, and the proceeds will be devoted to the gymnasium and sports queen funds. During the evening the trophies won were distributed by the president (Mr D. E. Parton) as follows:Field Memorial Shield 'men), Basketball and Volley Ball League (captains C.< Grant and H. Teague); Calder, Mackay Basketball Cup, captain, C. Grant; Married-Single Basketball Cup, married men (E. Anderson, captain); men's gymnastics, C. F. Ebert 1. N. McCracken 2; highest nonleader, K. S. Graham; special, W. Robbins; women's gymnastics. Miss Margaret Matheson 1, Miss Kathleen Johns 2; highest non-leader, Miss Kura Thiele.
