CONVENIENCES AT THE TAKAHE
The Christchurch City Council accepted a tender yesterday for the erection, near the Takahe, on Cashmere Hills of conveniences for men f.nd women. It is expected that the contract will be signed to-day. The building, which is to be of concre e, will be as inconspicuous as possible. Towards the cost (he city council will contribute £2OO, the Christchurch Tramway Board £IOO, and the HeathJote County Council £SO, m -Edition to carrying out the necessary drainage iv TfU intended to put the work r&dUnffdffiel?: it »ai lake « or seven weeks to complete.
