board of governors meets. The Board of Governors of Canterbury College held ;i meeting yesterday afternoon. Present: Messrs C. T. Aschnian (chairman). \V. A. Banks, E. •T. Howard, M.P., J. G. Poison, J. H. E. Schroder, W. M. Hamilton, 11. D. Aeland, J. J. Dougall, L. B. Wood, J. It. Cuningliam, Dr J. Hight, Dr. G. M. L. Lester, Bishop West-AYatson, and Miss E. A. Chaplin. Messrs A. E. Flower, J. G. Poison, H. D. Acland, and Dr. J. Hight were elected as the representatives of the Board on the Workers' Educational Association's Tutorial Class Committee The report of the College Committee stated that the gift to the Engineering School from Mr K. Hitchcock of a working model of a horizontal steam engine had bean acknowledged.
