NORTH CANTERBURY CENTRE. LAST NIGHT'S MEETING. A meeting of the North Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Athletic, Cycling, and Axemen's Union was held last evening. Present: Messrs W. ,f. Walter (chairman), Henderson, li. <l. McClelland, C. J. .Sowden, and I*. C. Lueas (secretary). The feeling certainly existed amongst riders that, as matters stood at present, the scratch men had all the best of the start.
