All Catholic schools in Winnipeg will bo closed at tho end of the year, according to an announcement made today by Monseignenr A. A. Sinnott, Archbishop of Winnipeg. The public schools will be called upon to provide for 2400 more children in grades one lo eight. The Archbishop stated that alter more than 40 years' effort the burden had become greater than could bo borne. Ten schools would be closed.
