Bernard Falke, in the vestry, and overpowering the bellringer, who tried to sound an alarm,, two charabanc loads of men and women, members of the Protestant Truth Society, led by Mr K. Keiisit. raided St. Hilnry Church, Marnzion, Cornwall, and removed a number of articles and ornaments, including the figure of the Madonna and Child, Crucifixion pictures, and votive candles and lamps. The raiders used hammers, chisels, and crowbars, and broke the loth century font. }'• Kcnsit claimed that the Consistory Court in February authorised, the removal of the ornaments, and added, "We have done what was done in England in. the Reformation dajs-'?
