VIOLENT SHOCK AT LIMA. INHABITANTS TERRORISED. (CKITED PRESS ASSOCIATIOX—SX BUSCTMC TELEGKAPH —COFYBIGHT.) (Received January 20th, 7.30 p.m.) LIMA (Peru), January 19. A strong earthquake shook Lima tonight, terrorising the inhabitants. The tremors cracked the walla of buildings and plunged the city into darkness. It is not known whether there were any casualties. [The population of Lima is approximately 260,000.]
