NEW FERRY STEAMER.
ARRIVAL NEXT MONTII. (rasas association tbleoram) WELLINGTON, September 4. According to advice received by the Union Steam Ship Company from London, the new (HWO-ton ferry steamer, Rangatira, which is to relieve the Maori in the Lyttelton-Wellirffeton ferry service, is expected to be ready to 6ail from Greenock on Tuesday for New Zealand. The vessel is coming to Wellington, via Panama, and because of the long stretch between Panama and New Zealand will steam at a reduced speed and should take 83 or 34 days on the voyage, arriving at v Wellington on October 13th.
