After a mass meeting of men, who declined to shear under' the award wliicr- reduced the rate :from 40s to 32s 6d ,per hundred, the president .of ..the Shearers' Committee, announced that the men would accept, work at award rates, thus ending the strike, which has lastr-d for three months.
