November ,14th, 10.15 p.m.) ■ . • SYDNEY, November 14,' ■ ' There was a sensational Clash in the city when 80 men and women came into conflict with a squad of police. Tke crowd was on its way to the Premier's office when the police intervened, and. a fierce scuffle followed. During the fight screams and jpaths rent the air, and police and prisoners rolled in the street as they fought. Police cars were rushed to the central station, where six were detained. The persons arrested wero variously charged with taking part in an unlawful procession, resisting arrest, and inciting to resist arrest.
