PRISONERS SENTENCED.
(PREBB ASSOCIATION TELE GUAM.) WELLINGTON, September 19. The following prisoners were sentenced in the Supreme Court to-day Theodore Charleß Bankart, carnal knowledge at Ohakune, twelve months probation, and ordered to pay coßts, £4 10s Gd. Prisoner was twenty, and had since married the girl witn the consent of her parents. Richard Hope Fenn and James McTavish, breaking, entering, and theft, twelve months' hard labour, at the expiration of the sentence already being undergone. Leslie Charles Ling, forgery and uttering, and eight charges of forgery at Blenheim, two years' hard labour. Edward Martin, perjury, two years' probation, and to pay« £1 Is costs. William Victor Haslam, breaking and entering at Palmerston North, eighteen months' reformative detention. William Frederick Gouchman, 41, for incest at Wanganui, six years' hard labour, concurrent on each ot two charges, and throe months' concurrent on a charge of attempted suicide.
