UNEMPLOYMENT.
NORTHERN RESOLUTIONS. (PRESS ASSOCIATIOH TK.BOBAH.)PALMERSTON N., May 28. At a meeting of the Unemployment Committee, the following resolution was passed:—-"That the committee, in endeavouring to assist the Government to alleviate the unemployment situation, considers that there is no justification for withholding from it any information which the Labour Department has regarding the unemployed.' Another resolution was passed urging upon the Minister the necessity of giving the committee the fullest access to all local recordß in the Labour Department with respect -to unemployment.
