Count Stolberg-Werinperode has leen sentenced to nine months' imprisonment for criminal negligence in shooting his father. Despite the verdict the Count announces his engagement to the wealthy Countess Anne Llese von Rothkirchtrach. (Count Eberhard Stoberg-Wermge-rode was found shot dead in his library at Janowitz Castle on March 26th last year. Hie son Christian was found in the courtyard apparently unconscious He said that he had been attacked by burglars, but doctors found no signs of injuries on the son. A dramatic development in the case occurred when Christian was arrested charged with killing his father. Ho then said that he was cleaning a rifle, which went off and the bullet entered his father's head.]
