Practically .all the work is done on the main highways, which are used most by. persons travelling tKiough the county, not by ratepayers,- or very few; Is'-k not time that something should" be dotte on- 'the subsidiary roads, neglected as they are at present? - "Ratepayer," in his letter of March 18th, asks for an explanation of the building of the new Power Board offices; but what . about . the clerk's residence? "Within the last two years it has been altered continually, including tlie installing of a lighting plant. .
