CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION.
The following is the draw for the final round of Sixth Grade matches:—Y.M.C.A. A v. Linwood (final), Lancaster Park No. 4; Sydenham v. Christ's College A, College No. 8; Boys' High School A v. St. Albans, Hospital No. 4; Christ's College B v. Boys' High School B, College No. 4; Y.H.C.A. 8., a bye. Owing to (he New Brighton ground not being available next Saturday, the third grade game between St. Andrew's College and New Brighton' will be completed on St. Andrew's College ground. COMBINED PRESS CLUa WELLINGTON TEAM'S VISIT. Representatives of the three Christchurch newspaper offices met yesterday afternoon to make arrangements for the annual cricket match against the Wellington Pressmen. Mr D. Morgan was elected chairman and Mr J. Wj Richards secretary-treasurer. The match this year will be played in Christchurch, at Hagley , Park,_ on Saturday, April 6th, the "Wellington team arriving by th® ferry steamer that morning. The following committees were appointed:—Entertainment and Reception Committee: Messrs J. Jackman, H. Bell, B. Hartley Smith, J. Fleming, N. Archer, and V. Burrowes; Selection Committee: Messrs H. Bell, N. Archer, and J. Fleming; office delegates: Messrs E. Hartley Smith ("Times"), N. Archer (Thß Press), and J. Fleming ("Sun"). . , . ...... This year's match will make the fifth occasion on which games have been played between the newspaper men of the two cities, and to date each has won two matches. It was decided that tho hours of play should be 10 a.m. to 12.46 p.m. and 1.45 p to. to 6 p.m. > The Wellington team will he entertained in the evening at dinner. In the Hawke Cup match, Rangitikel, the. last challengers of the season, made 177 in their first innings, and Manawatu have lost one wicket for 77.
