CHRIS-TCHURCH LADIES* CLUB. The monthly bogey match was played at Shirley yesterday. The players found the southerly wind troublesome, and scoring was difficult. There were ties in both divisions, Miss Beadel, Miss Cracroft Wilson, and Miss Giles, in the seniors, and Miss Fleetwood, Miss Bonaldson, and Miss Turrell ih the juniors. MUNICIPAL CLUB. The annual meeting of players on the Muncipal Golf Links at New Brighton was held last night. The Mayor (Mr J. H. Shaw) presided over a large attendance. A report from tho Players' Committee was read and approved. The report showed that the club had made good progress w a short period. A pleasing feature was the large membership which the club now had, and it was eaid that there was every indication that there _ would be a further aub stantial increase in the near future. Mr Shaw referred to the clubhouse, which he said was nearing completion. He suggested that a social function be arranged in connexion with the opening day. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the secretary of the Players' Committee (Mr H. Elliots.

The following were elected members of llio Players' Committer:—Messrs K. Frsnkish, H. Elliott, H. Throp, J. E. Gudgeon, and R. S. Pearson. To the Women's Committee the following were elected: Mesdames Jarvis, Cooper, Bowker, Branch, Miles, Querse, and Miss Hopkins. Arrangements for opening day were made.

Mr Shaw presented the trophies which were won during last season. Following this he presented a silver cup to be competed for as the committee may decide. A trophy was also given by Mr A. W. Jones. Votes of thanks were passed to th© donors.
