WELLINGTON, February 13. During January the total live births registered for urban areas in the Dominion amounted to 1109 as against 982 in December, an increase of 127. Deaths in January were 507, a decrease of 24 as compared with the previous month. Of the total deaths males contributed 282 and females 225. Fifty-two of the deaths were .of. children under five years of age, being 10.26 per cent, of the whole number. Fortyfive of these were under one year of age,,
