MR W. CECIL PRIME.
NOMINATED FOR ARBITRATION COURT.
A circular letter forwarded by the New Zealand Employers' Federation to all industrial unions of employers states that at the meeting of the executive on Tuesday the decision to recommend all unions of employers to nominate Mr W. Cecil Prime, of Christcliureh, as employers' representative on the Court of Arbitration was unanimous.
The decision of the executive, states the circular, was based entirely npon Mr Prime's qualifications. After naming several of Mr Prinze's pqst appointments, it states that he has acquired a thorough knowledge of the details of all awards of the Arbitration Court and of all industrial legislation. "He is entirely familiar with the procedure of the Court and fully informed as to the interests and policy of the employers' organisation. Mr Prime also lifts personal qualities of character, intelligence, patience, and tact which are essential to one hojding the position to which we now recommend his appointment.
"The members of the executive have every confidence that Mr Prime will discharge the duties of the office of employers' representative on the Court with satisfaction to thpse whom he represents fpid with the utmost credit to himself."
