THE SQUARE.
DEPUTATION TO CATHEDRAL CHAPTER. A deputation representing the conference of local authorities and others interested in the lay-out of Cathedral square waited on the Cathedral Chapter at its meeting yesterday afternoon.
Afterwards the Mayor (Mr J. K. Archer) told a representative of The Press that the deputation had presented to the Chapter the proposals of the conference and discussed them wjth the Chapter. The Chapter promised to consider the proposals.
