Henry Money was charged at the Magistrate's Court with assaulting a young woman by following her about and by threats of violence, preventing her from pursuing her lawful way. Complainant alleged that the accused threatened her with a razor at Awapuni racecourse. The police stated that the young woman had been previously engaged to the accused, hut had broken it off on account of his gambling; and drinking habits. The accused was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence- if called on.
