A SUCCESSFUL FIXTURE. The Domain Board held a gala on Boxing Day to raise funds tor improvements. Th» Christchurch Municipal Band, under the conductorehip of Mr Nuttall, played an excellent programme of music. There were several Bide-ahows which were well patronised. The cake-guessing comptition was won by Miss Russell. A lamb was won T>y Mr Hargreaves, and Mrs McNally wen • box of chocolate*.
