BOWLING.
CASHMERE HILLS CLUB. At the annual meeting of the Cashmere Hills Bowling Club, there was a large attendance of members. The annual report stated that the club had a most successful year, showing a small increase of members and a credit balance. The club suffered the loss by death of three members—Messrs H. Brinkman, A. F. Smith, and C. Atkinson. The retiring president, Mr Peter Graham, just before he left for Scotland in March last, gave a solid silver chal lenge cup which was allocated to the cham pionshin rink. The winners of the , club's championships were:—Singles, C. E. Hollis; pairs, C. E. Wilson and E. W. Pearce (s); and rinks, J. H. Seymour, R. Hamilton, E. W. Pearce, and C. J. Morrison (s). Officers were elected as follows:—President, Mr 0. J. Morrison; vice-president, Mr J. It. Danks; hon treasurer, Mr W. J. Dobbs; hon. secretary, Mr C. E. Wilson; assistant secretary, Mr E. Hardcastle; Green Committee, Messrs Harris and Keighley; Match Committee, Messrs Harris and Wilson; sole selector, Mr P. H. Harris; General Com mittee, Messrs Bainey. Shanks. Harris, P. Graham, and Stansfield; Centre delegate, Mr C. J. Morrison; hon. auditor, Major Berrow. A few new members were elected.
