BALL AT HAREWOOD.
The annual ball of the bachelors and spinsters of Harewood, held last Thursday evening in the Harewood Hall, was a marked success. The hall was beautifully decorated with green and gold streamers and gaily-coloured balloons. Music was supplied by the Darfield Melody Players, and Mrs Hayton played the extras. About sisty couples took part in the Grand March, led by Miss B. Ashby and Mr J. Graham. Messrs H. McDonald and J. Tulett made efficient M.C.'s. The lucky spot one-step was won by Miss E.
