FAREWELL PARTY
At her home, "The Oaks,'' so admirably suited for entertaining, Mrs Frank Egan was hostess at an enjoyable farewell party, given in honour of Misses Flora and Grace Murray, who are leaving next week for a trip abroad. Musical items were given by Miss Katherine Cassidy, Misses C. and N. Robinson. Miss Alexander, and Mr Noel Smith. Those who enjoyed Mrs Egan's hospitality were Misses Flora and Grace Murray, Mr and Mrs Noel Smith and Miss Alexander, Mrs Shirriffs, Mrs John McClure. Miss Cassidy, Miss Robinson, Mr and Mrs Wilfred Walton, Mrs Robinson, and Misses C. and N. Robinson.
Twelve thousand pythons' skins were imported into Great Britain in 1927 from Java for makine; women's shoes.
