DANISH STEAMER'S REPORT. (TTNITBD PRESS ASSOCIATION —BT ELLCTEIC TELEGRAPH —COPVEIGHT.) (Received July Bth, 9.50 p.m.) LONDON, July 8. The North Foreland wireless station intercepted the following message from the Danish steamer Anneborg, at 10.55 p.m.: -Observed a vessel' sunk by an explosion about five miles south-west by south of Smith's Knoll light-vessel. We are cruising around the position, but have observed nothing." H.M.S. Selkirk is reported to have arrived at the position of the S.O.S. to assist in the search.—United Service. NO TRACES OF THE CREW. (Received July 9th, 12.25 a.m.) LONDON, July 8. It is stated that the explosion occurred 25 miles north of Yarmouth. Lifeboats and other vessels, including the warship Selkirk, searched without result. " They discovered only pieces of wreckage, and could find no trace of the crew or anv clue to the name of the vessel—Australian Press Association.
