The Southern Cross departed for Bunder Abbas, Persia, this morning at 5.50. The flyers spent yesterday repairing the engines or their machine with the assistance of Royal Air Force mechanics. Flight-Lieutenant Ulm said that their plans had been changed in view of the condition of the motors, and they would therefore make a daylight flight on Saturday.— Australian Press Association, United Service.
