COMING-OF-AGE DANCE.
On the occasion of the eoming-of-age of their daughter, Mr and Mrs E. Eastwood recently entertained about eighty guests at an enjoyable social evening and dance in the Cadena Tea Booms. Miss Eastwood wore a pale pink crepe de chine frock with sequin trimming. The birthday cake, the gift of Mrs St. George Atkinson, was beautifully decorated with pink icing, 21 candles, and a wishbone for luck. Miss Eastwood was presented with a gold key by her father. Snowballs, paper hats, and streamers lent colour and variety to the gathering. The music for the dancing was supplied by Woodward's Orchestra. Miss Mary Eastwood and Mr W. Baunton each playing an extra. Mr C. Eishworth was master of ceremonies. Items were rendered by Miss Mary Eastwood, Messrs A. Couch, C. Eishworth, and B. Goodland. Miss Eastwood was the recipient of many beautiful presents. Amongst those present were: —Mr and Mrs E. Eastwood, Mr and Mrs C. Eastwood, Mr and Mrs A. Eastwood, Mr and Mrs B. G.
