LINCOLN GUILD OF MISSION.

The annual meeting of the Lincoln Parish Guild was held in the vicarage on Friday afternoon. The vicar (the Rev. A. H. Acheson) presided. Apologies were received from Lady Rhodes, Mesdames Acheson ana Maxwell, and from the Misses V. V. Hynes, Gray, and Smith. The annual report recorded a most successful year. Five meetings were held, at'which the attendance was good. Addresses were given by Miss Park, Miss May Gibson, of North China, and the vicar. A lantern lecture was given by the Rev. F. C. Long. The Guild, in addition to its own garden party at the vicarage, helped at the Melanesian garden party at Bishopseourt, and at the North China missionary sale at the Jellicoe Hall. Members had subscribed over £L> during the year, and raised about £-2, and the parish had raised more than its quota of £SO. The exact amount was not known, but was thought to be about £59 or £6O. , . . It was decided that for the future four ladies be responsible for the tea at each meeting. Conditions of membership were discussed, and it was resolved that membership be open for all those who give at least Is a quarter to the Guild's funds. It was suggested that the use of boxes would greatly help. It was also decided that all money raised by the Guild be paid to the churchwarden, so that the amount could be included in the parish 'a balance-sheet, and that the churchwarden be asked to give a note of any missionary money to the secretary. Mrs HA. Kimber was re-elected secretary and treasurer. ST. SAVIOUR'S MARKET.

To augment th© funds for the liquidation of the St. Saviour's Orphanage overdraft, Mrs Stanley Gibbs, Miss Lucy Page, and Miss Doris Thaeker arranged a series of bridge parties, the following hostesses having one or more tables in their own homes:—Mrs E le Cren, Mrs W.
