RAID ON CURACAO.
SITUATION NOW QUIET. (UNITED TSESS ASSOCIATION—BT ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH— COP/313 3T.) (Received June 12th, 10.35 p.m.) THE HAGUE. June 12. The latest report from Curacao is that everything is quiet. In addition to the destroyer Kortanner, the Dutch battleship Hertog Hendrik leaves Holland <.*n Thursday. She is landing a division of 190 troops, in addition to the crews. The Dutch Press strongly criticises the Dutch Government for neglecting the interests of the West Indies.— United Service. [A previous cablegram stated that 500 armed Venezuelans arrived, at Curacao following upon an incipient revolution in their own country. The invaders seized arms and ammunition and imprisoned the Island's Governor and garrison's commandant. They then compelled the master of an American vessel to carry them back to the mainland.]
