WEST COAST TRAFFIC.
FREIGHT THOROUGH TUNNEL.
The east bound traffic through the Otira tunnel continues to be heavier than was the case last year. For the week ended on Saturday last the tonnage amounted to 10,250, as compared with 896(5 for the corresponding period or the previous year.
