THREE MONTHS' GAOL.
SALESMAN SENTENCED. (PBIS3 ISSOCU.T:O* tiligbah.) WELLINGTON, March 3. A salesman named George Augustus Pugh pleaded guilty to fraudulently failing to account for sums totalling £SO, collected on behalf of the Stevens relief fund. Stevens died in distressing circumstances, leaving a widow and ten young children destitute. Accused was sentenced to three months' imprisonment.
