GRAND THEATRE.

"What Price Glory" is a great war-time epic. In parts it is tense drama, in other places, rollicking comedy, but through it all runs a vein of emotional romance which shows that even amidst the horrors of warfare Cupid is still able to look after business as usual. The story hovers round the doings of three people—two American marines, and a charming French girl who loves them both. All the stark horror of war u brought to the screen in this great film and the result is an awe-inspiring impressionist picture of life in the trenches during tie Great War. An unusually fine cast looks after the leading roles. As Captain Flag*, Victor McLaglen is splendid. His rival. Quirt, finds an • excellent portrayer in Edmund Lowe, and as Charmaine, their lover, Dolores dsl Rio gives a finely realistic display of a fascinating French maiden. Prior to the screening of the picture, Mr David McGill appears in a vocal prologue.
