STRAND THEATRE.
The two main pictures at the Strand Theatre are "Along Came Ruth" and "Then Came the Woman." The former stars Viola Dana, and tells of an unsuccessful commercial artist determined to make good. The heroine secures a job in a small and dull town, and causes life to 9peed up considerably The second feature is a simple tale starring Frank Mayo, Cullen Landis, and Mildred Kyan. The plot deals with a boy of ungovernable temper who finds himself paroled in the custody of a lumber king after he has been accused wrongly of theft. "The Silent Flyer" (episode 6), a comedy, and a news film complete the bill.
