BENEDICTS' BALL AT GLENROY.
The benedicts of the Glenroy district | held a ball in the local hall on Friday. In spite of the threatening weather, there was a large attendance. The hall was' beautifully decorated with pink, mau,ve, and green streamers and terns. The music was supplied by theGlenata Orchestra, extras being played by Mrs T. Stone, Misses I. Gilmour, P. Chritehjer, and E: Hunt, Messrs R. G. Keitli and F. Ishern'ood carried out the duti'is of M.C.'s. Amongst • those present were: Mesdames T. Stone, Powell, S. Thwaitea, G. Hunt, W.
