OTAGO CHAMPIONSHIPS. (HIS* MIOCUTIO* TBLSOtiX.) DUNEDIN, February 9. The Otago croquet championship tournament was opened to-day in dull weather and with tho greens In excellent order. "Writing players were present from Christchurch, Gore, Inrercarglll, and Alexandra! The following are the results of the championship games:— Doubles. —Mesdameu HcCreath and Durham (Gore) 26, Mesdames Osborne and Wall-ing-Jones (Punga, Dunedin) 23; Mesdames Manhire and Horn (Punga) 26, Mesdames Gatcoigne nnd Psssmore (Punga) 24; Mesdames Buchler and Flynn (Punga) 26, Mesdames Brlckell and Dixon (Punga) 16. In addition, several of the games in tfie preliminary rounds of the handicap evcnls were played. -
