LADIES' COMMITTEE. The Mayor (Mr F. E. Sutton > presided over a meeting of ladies in the Lyttclton Council Chambers last evening to arrange for the entertainment of visiting yachtsmen. It was decided to hold a moonlight picnic and dance at Diamond Harbour on Wednesday, February 16th. The ladies present formed themselves into a committee. After tho meeting the Lyttclton General Committee met and appointed a sub-committeo to arrange for catering j and other details. I
