MARLBOROUGH LOCAL BODIES.
(PRZ3S association telegram.) BLENHEIM. May 3. There will be contests in four ridings in the Marlborough County Council elections, but no contests for county seats on the Wairau and Picton Hospital Boards, the Power Board, or the Harbour Board. A feature of the Wairau Hospital Board nominations is the election of Mrs Chris Smith, who takes her husband's old seat, and has tho honour of being the second lady member Blenheim Borough being already represented by Mrs F. Redwood.
