At the .close the boys were entertained to supper. by Mr Burneli Anrac Services. ■. , A memorial service' Was conducted at the Heathcote War Memorial on Sunday morning; •at 10 o'clock. There was a good attendance of residents. A- parade of, the local detachment of Territorials and Cadets, , under Lieut. Breach, added to the' impressiveness of the ceremony. The Rev, T.M.Curnow," vicar of St. Mary's Church, conducted the service,, and. the Rev. W, H. Speer, superintendent of the Wo'olston Methodist circuit, gave the address. During the singing of the last hymn several floral - tributes from, the' relatives and friends of fallen soldierß, the Heathcote County Counoil, .the Heathcote . Club, the railway staff,' and'the Heathcotd school children were laid' fct the fdot of the monument. The service concluded with' the singing* of the National Anthem.
