BOWLING.
LINWOOD CLUB. The Lin wood Bowling Club closed its season on Saturday with a rinks tournament, entries being received from the following clubsChristchurch, United, Canterbury, Edgeware, Sydenham, and New Brighton. Four games were played, two of forty-five minutes ®nd two of sixty minutes. H. C. Wilson (Linwood) wae the only player to win four games, and ha took the first prize. S. D. Muirson (New Brighton) tied with three others with three wins, but won on the aggregate points. He took the second award. At the close of tb« games the president of the club (Mr C. E. Tustin) thanked the players for their «upport and presented the first prize. The winner, on behalf of the team, handed back the prize to the president as a donation to the club's funds. A vote of thasks waa accordid Mr J. A. Clarke for the very satisfactory manner in which he had conducted the meeting.
