BRACKENFIELD HUNT.

MEET AT KAIAPOI. The Brackcnfield Hunt iuct at Mill. Mcintosh's, Kaiapoi, on Saturday. Tho hounds threw off behind the house, and after trying several paddocks a hare was raised. After a short burst it was lost in a plantation, and another paddock was drawn. This resulted in the finding of a jack hare. Leaving Mr Mcintosh's property it went through ulr Four's and atter a long run it was pulled down 011 Mr Edwards's property. Owing to the excessive heat the hounds were tlieh packed up. Apologies were received from tho Master and the Deputy-Master, and tiieir places were ably filled by Miss I. Rutherford, Thanks are due to Mr and Mrs Mcintosh for tho hospitable manner in which they entertained tho followers."
