STUDENTS' CAPPING.

ARRANGEMENTS PROCEEDING. Arrangements in connexion with the Canterbury College Capping Carnival, to be held during the second week in May, are well in hand. . , The students are unusually .enthusiastic about this year's procession,.. and at a recent meeting Mr D. F. .Laurenson was appointed secretary, with a strong. committee to assist him in making' detailed arrangements. Mr M. Barak, the Bhodes scholar, is this year's studens'' rex, and his queen will bo Mr D. F. 'Laurenson.' After the procession,, for a season of three nights the public will have an epportunity of witnessing one of the best * revues yet staged by Canterbury College etudents. It will be known under the title "The Dogs." The revue is the product of the College, and a talented body of principals will make the most of witty dialogue and farcical scenes. The producer this year i» Mr W, Rendlc, while the businees management is in the hands of Mr L. R. Pernor. Rehearsals are proceeding, and the entertainment is likely to be one of the best of its kind yet presented in the City.'
