WAIMATE HUNT CLUB.
SECOND MEET OF SEASON. .' The second meet of theWaimate Hunt Club's season was held at MorTOa last -week, the hounds taking off in a paddock next to Mr Fcarce's homestead. A fair number took part in the hunt, whilst several spectators in! motor-cars watched proceedings. Ground was dry, and consequently the scent was hard to pick up, but the hounds; were keen and a couple of good runs eventuated, the riders having to negotiate several pretty stiff fences. Followers and spectators after the meeting were Entertained by Captain Hennessey, of Morven, to afternoon , tea. '■'..■'
