CANTERBURY COLLEGE CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Canterbury College Swimming Club was held last evening, Mr J\ Marris presiding over a. good attend•nci i of, members, r '-The annual report stated that the club

The club differed from other swimming clubs in ,toat ite activities took place in the winter on'account of the long summer .; : A,y*elUoo. The Tepid Baths had been the scene - for most of last year's activities,' but it was hoped to obtain the Soys' High School baths for the' ensuing yean . The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr E, Bamford; -vice-presidents, Dr. Parr, Professor J. B. Condliffe, and Mr F. W. Petre; club captain, Mr D. P. Lindsay; deputy club captain, Mr 8. R. Watson; hon. secretary, Mr G. E. Page; hon. treasurer, Mr E. Ej Acland; committee, Messrs W. Langmuir, H. S. Weston, and R. 0. P. King. The secretary was instructed to approach the Students' Association with a view to ' having swimming included In the events for the inter-'Varsity tournament. ' On the motion of Mr J. Marris, seconded by Mr R. King, it was decided to form a life-saving class for the ensuing year. It was decided to approach the Board of Governors in regard to having the baths batted.
