THE SECOND WATCH.

TWO-MILLIONTH VISITOR TO THE EXHIBITION. (PBESS ASSOCIATION 1 TELEGBAM.) DUNEDIN, March 9. The two millionth visitor to the Exhibition passed through the turnstiles about 6.30 this evening. A crowd of several thousands congregated inside the gates, and greeted with loud yells a well known sideshowman in the Amusement) Park, and others equally famous in other spheres, as they hurried through the lane maintained by the police. Outside the queue extended far up the street, yet at least one small boy, who must have ducked under those in front of him, had six tries for the gold watch which the directors had purchased for the lucky visitor. The first watch, given to the millionth visitor, was claimed by a lady from Invercargill, and the second was presented about 6:50 this evening to - Mrs Morrison, Hampton House, Le Cren's terrace, Timaru, wife of Commander G. W. Morrison, late of the Royal Navy. It was her third visit to the Exhibition. To-day is the ninety-sixth day of the Exhibition, and every day's attendance till May Ist, when the Exhibition will close, will add to the new Dominion record which the Exhibition has already s'et, as the Christchureh record of 1,967,632 was passed on Saturday. As there are still four days and seven weeks to go, the grand total on May Ist should he a good deal nearer three millions than two. •
