HUSBAND FRIGHTFULLY INJURED. MYSTERIOUS TRAGEDY, (PEESS ASSOCIATION TZLEOBAM.) HAMILTON, March 9. A shocking tragedy occurred at the Te Kowhai Settlement, about eight miles from Hamilton, this afternoon. A Maori woman, Ngapeti Koti Rawiri, was killed, and her husband, Peter Rawiri, is in hospital, not expected to live. Deceased, her husband, her brother J£oti, and iihau, another iNative, stayed the previous night at the Ngaruawahia pah, leaving this morning for Te ixoivhai, Koti leaving the party when about a mile from the destination.
